Jailbreaking iOS 4.0 - iPhone and iPod touch 4.0 Jailbreak officially completed

Shortly after the announcement of the iPhone and iPod touch's new firmware, OS 4.0, Apple officially released a beta test firmware of 4.0 to current app developers. Among the Apple app developers, were members of the jailbreaking team. Thats right, iPhone and iPod touch OS 4.0 has officially been jailbroken/unlocked.

The new firmware isn't officially being released to the public until summer 2010, but the developers have already hit the ground running with creating apps for the new OS. Similar to the way Apple released the new OS to only developers, the jailbreaking team is doing the same. The team is releasing the jailbreak to only app developers, so they can also get a head start in creating apps for the new jailbroken firmware.
