iPhone 4 Release Problems - Tons of Malfunctioning devices - Don't Buy Yet!

Currently, the iPhone 4 is allover the web news. Thousands of people are disappointed with the new Apple device. Even Yahoo! wrote an article about problems and disappointments with the new iPhone 4. Problems with the steel band and antenna as well as people seeing yellow spots on their screen are just the beginning of the disappointment.

When Steve Jobs announced the iPhone 4, he went in depth about how genius the steel band as an antenna was. Thousands of reports have already been made about dropped calls when the new iPhone is placed on its side, or if you touch one of the small slits in the steel band. Some people are probably thinking, “Why would you put your iPhone on its side while making a call?,” but with the new video chat feature, it allows landscape recording.

The video chat has also been complained about. Not only do you have to be in a wifi hotspot to use the video chat feature, but the person you video chat with also has to have the iPhone 4. With millions of webcams and video recording devices, there should be no need for both users to have the iPhone 4. Even most of the new Mac’s have built in webcams, which should’ve been made compatible for the iPhone 4 video chat at the least. Also, Apple should’ve used the 3G network that At&t customers have to pay hundreds of dollars for a year instead of only allowing video chatting via wifi.

There have also been several reports of iPhone 4’s having yellow streaks or spots on the “hitech” retina display. Over the last few hours, there have been reports that in some cases, these spots go away after slight use. Scratch and damage tests have also shown that the glass used on the iPhone 4, which is supposed to be the same glass used in helicopter windshields, easily scratches and shatters. iFixYouri did a drop test, where they dropped the newly unboxed iPhone 4 several times, and it showed incredible amounts of damage to the glass. There have also been people who have been complaining online about how they have already gotten plenty of scratches on the phone that was supposed to be almost indestructible. The phone hasn’t even been out for 24 Hours yet and there are already thousands of complaints.

With the Droid market increasing for the better, mobile phone fanatics may be trading in their iPhones for a new Droid phone. While Apple stuck with the not so impressive 5-megapixel camera, some android phones have made their way up to 8-megapixel camera’s and some phones even have up to 12-megapixels! The new Droid X even has an HDMI port and no complaints!

While people are saying to not rush to get your iPhone 4 and to wait until the problems are fixed, people are still in love with the new features on the device.
