Not only is the iPad great for reading eBooks and online articles, Apple made a nifty email application for the device. You can view emails in stacks, and easily swipe through your inbox and open attachments with third-party applications. The email app allows you to split the screen into a keyboard, and live view of your mail. The keyboard is barely smaller than a regular sized keyboard, and even includes individual-spaced out keys to avoid pressing the wrong key.

One of the key features with the iPad is the picture album. Viewing pictures has never been so fun and creative. A vivid backlit LED display makes viewing photos on the iPad unique. You can simply view an album by tapping, flip through albums by swiping, and even preview albums by reverse pinching (Placing your fingers together on the album and gently moving your fingers apart). It is also said that the wifi is much faster on the iPad.

Writing notes are actually useful on the iPad because they are large enough to read, and the keyboard is easy to write with.
