Apple iTunes Announcement 2010 - UnForgettable update for iTunes
Apples unforgettable iTunes Announcement 2010 Updated! - November 16
UPDATE: Although it's nothing new about the software, just minutes ago, Apple released their Announcement! Thats right, The families of the Beatles members have finally made an agreement with apple to distribute the Beatles music. Over 200 songs by the Beatles will be added to the iTunes store. For years, Apple has been trying to win over the distribution and download rights to the Beatles, and that day has finally come making a landmark in the music industry.
Can apple really make something more forgettable? iTunes has already changed the way music is listened to, organized, and shared over the past few years. One of Apple's more recent iTunes updates added the Ping social networking service that allows you to share your music interests with your friends. iTunes has had updates every month recently from the Ping addition to iOS updates, but Steve Jobs will be letting us know their most unforgettable iTunes update.
Apple released a teaser for their iTunes update on November 15, 2010. Speculations are floating the internet about Apple's new data center built in North Carolina having to do with the new iTunes update. For months, apple has been rumored to be working on a cloud based iTunes, which will allow streaming from your iTunes almost anywhere that has wifi, wired, or 3G access. About a year ago, Apple acquired the company Lala. Lala was a music streaming company that fell apart in early 2010. Rumors have said that the Lala service will be helping apple release their clouding version of iTunes. With apple's newly revamped apple TV, the iTunes update could allow even more features of Apple Tv being available on apple mobile devices including cloud capability. The new Data center was announced by apple to officially go online by the end of 2010, which leaves only a month and a half in the year, and could be housing terabytes among terabytes of server storage.
Cloud computing is the term that is associated with storing information onto servers, and accessing that data over the internet on mobile devices. If iTunes has indeed completed their speculated Coulding version of iTunes, be prepared to store your iTunes content on Apple servers, and access it anywhere!
